About Dr. Abed 

Dr. Abed is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with a focused practice and experience in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. She worked as an ObGyn specialist at Anne Arundel Medical Center, the University of Maryland Hospital in Easton, and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. 
Her clinical expertise includes the management of pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and pelvic organ prolapse. She is a skilled surgeon in DaVinci robotic surgery, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and vaginal surgery. 
She understands the physical and emotional challenges of women today, and wants to make sure women have access to the most advanced treatments and health maintenance options. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. Outside of medicine, Dr. Abed enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.
