“The wonderful thing about being a gynecologist is being able to care for my patients over many years. From helping a teenage navigate reproductive choices, to helping women have safe and planned pregnancies and then to help navigate through menopause. It is amazing to now be taking care of girls and young women that I brought into the world as well as still caring for their mothers. I love to help women be proactive about their health and to be educated on the many choices they have for themselves and their families.”

Biography

Dr. Snyder attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and then completed her Gynecology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore from 1986-1990. During her last year of residency, she also was the Chief Resident.

Dr. Snyder was in private practice for one year in Baltimore and then moved to Miami, Florida where she practiced for 3 years. She started the Obstetrics division for an infertility practice and handled many high-risk pregnancies. She moved to Maryland in 1994 and joined her father-in-law in practice and started the Obstetrics division of his practice. In 2001, she stopped practicing Obstetrics and began concentrating her practice to just Gynecology. She has been practicing in Montgomery County for over 20 years. While she cares for women of all ages, she has specialty training in both pediatric and adolescent gynecology and sees young patients and teens with gynecologic issues.
