“Each patient should be cared for as if they were the sole focus of all our efforts. Each woman deserves the most careful, most compassionate, and most individualized care possible. When gynecologic surgery is required, each woman deserves the opportunity for a minimally invasive approach.”
I cannot possibly say enough great things about Dr. Albert Steren and his staff! I was referred to his practice by my GYN when I needed surgery. Dr. Steren is knowledgeable, competent, and kind. When I had my consultation with him, he presented me and my husband with all of our options and was comforting and reassuring. He was patient and answered any questions we had and it was clear as he explained everything that I would be in very competent, capable hands in the OR.
“I try hard to make the patient comfortable and knowledgeable in whatever problem that she is having. We all do better with knowing what the problem is and the best way to resolve it. As Director of Gynecologic Oncology Research, I try to make sure that my patients are getting the best access to the very latest treatments that are available nationally and internationally. I lecture frequently to doctors and lay groups to help get the word out as to advances in my field of Gynecologic Oncology, laparoscopic/robotic surgery, ovarian masses, abnormal bleeding and pap smears, as well as any gynecologic problem.”
Dr. Ebony Hoskins is a board certified gynecologic oncologist from Michigan. At a young age, she determined she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She attended the Xavier University of Louisiana, with this goal in mind. “The wonderful thing about being a gynecologist is being able to care for my patients over many years. From helping a teenage navigate reproductive choices, to helping women have safe and planned pregnancies and then to help navigate through menopause. It is amazing to now be taking care of girls and young women that I brought into the world as well as still caring for their mothers. I love to help women be proactive about their health and to be educated on the many choices they have for themselves and their families.”
